Service Credit Policy
2019-2020 School Year
As previously communicated, the All Saints Academy Board of Directors has established the following policy: “All families attending All Saints Academy must complete 10 credits of volunteer service per family during the school year”.
Service credit opportunities begin on April 1, 2019, and continue through March 31, 2020, and must be completed by adult members of the family (ages 18 and older).
Any service credit opportunity that involves working with or near all Saints Academy school children requires that the person providing the service is following the Archdiocesan Safe Environment program. This includes having completed “Protecting God’s Children”, reading and signing the Code of Ethical Conduct, and obtaining a background check.
Service credit opportunities will be communicated via email, Fast Direct, school newsletters, and parish bulletins.
Individual Event forms will be available at the school office and Group Event forms will be the responsibility of the event chairperson. It is the volunteer’s responsibility to insure signature is provided.
ALL service credits must be completed and signed by both the volunteer and the service recipient AND submitted to the event chairperson or the school office within 48 hours of the day of volunteer service. No late forms or forms without signature will be accepted.
