All Saints Academy Board of Directors News - 9-7-18

posted Sep 7, 2018, 3:48 PM by All Saints Academy

The All Saints Academy Board of Directors had the task of formalizing a new Mission Statement for All Saints Academy as one of their first official acts. A Mission Statement needs to proclaim who we are, what we do, and how we do it.  Faculty and staff members from each campus had input on the first draft of the Mission Statement.  From their input, a final version of the Mission Statement has been created, below:

All Saints Academy Mission Statement: All Saints Academy challenges every child to achieve academic excellence and acquire skills for a lifetime of learning rooted in Catholic Tradition.  Guided by the Gospel of Jesus, we develop the mind, body and spirit of students to lead and serve in a diverse community.

In early 2019, a parent meeting will be held for feedback on how All Saints Academy is living up to this newly formed Mission Statement.

On Sunday, July 1st we officially become
All Saints Academy - one school with three campus locations at St. Ferdinand, St. Norbert and St. Rose Philippine Duchesne Parishes.

We are all very excited about the upcoming school year and have been busy preparing for All Saints Academy. The Parent Advisory Committee has selected new uniforms, new spirit wear, a new logo and are planning a "Back To School Bash" in September or early October. The All Saints Academy Parent Association has been meeting this summer. Each campus is represented on the Parent Association. They have been working on a Parent Association budget, by-laws and preparing for the first meeting in August. The newly formed Board of Directors of All Saints Academy met in June and began the process of forming a new "Mission Statement" for All Saints Academy. We thank all of the members of these various groups for their willingness to serve and to further the mission of Catholic education in North County.

Look for further information in the coming weeks!!!
